HeelHub

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 June 2026

HeelHub is operated by MJK APPS SRL ("we", "us"), a limited liability company registered in Romania (trade registry no. J24/866/22.03.2019, unique registration code CUI RO40832934), trading as Fluttech (fluttech.com). This policy explains what data the HeelHub mobile app and the heelhub.app website collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the product needs, we don't run ads, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

How we use it

Where your data lives

HeelHub runs on Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Firebase AI), with Google LLC acting as our processor under the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms. Data may be processed on servers outside the European Economic Area (including the United States); such transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and Google's supplementary measures (see Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access in the app is enforced by per-user security rules: owners see only their own dogs, sessions and conversations; trainers see only their own clients. See Data & safety for the full picture. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

Sharing

Your data is shared only between you and your trainer (or your clients, if you are the trainer), and with the processors above. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We would disclose data only if required by law.

Retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing contact@fluttech.com — we will complete the deletion within 30 days. After deletion we may retain limited information for a short period where the law requires it (e.g. billing records), then delete or anonymise it. Owners with anonymous accounts who lose their device can ask their trainer to re-invite them; unclaimed data can be deleted on request.

Legal bases & your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, we process your personal data on the basis of: (i) performance of our contract with you (providing HeelHub), (ii) your consent where we ask for it, (iii) our legitimate interests (e.g. keeping the service secure and improving it) where these are not overridden by your rights, and (iv) legal obligation. You have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. Write to contact@fluttech.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority; our lead supervisory authority is the Romanian ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro).

Children

HeelHub is not directed at children under 16. Accounts are created by trainers and adult dog owners; we do not knowingly collect children's data.

Links to other services

The app and this site may link to third-party services (e.g. the App Store, Google Play, Google Fonts on the website). This policy does not cover those third parties — please review their own privacy policies.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and note it in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
